The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its most notable innovation is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. This uses AI to identify objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to send you pictures of the objects that it encounters, so you can tell that it is safe to avoid it.
The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop we've ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills easily, leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off by speaking to it.

While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates, and it's sometimes difficult to determine whether they're working until you actually see them in action.

The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This is an area that many cheaper robot vacuums aren't able to meet. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is superb too, with very little missing in corners and along walls.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of both mopping and vacuuming. Its design is one of the top in the market however, it's costly.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially when it comes navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren’t as reliable as other robotvacs. This means it is prone to getting stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms of the house. It's also not able to climb stairs like other models and doesn't come with a dock that can create a cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.
Although it doesn't provide as much in the way of cleaning options available in its app, or as many shortcuts within the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those looking for an all-around great mop and robot vacuum that's worth the price cost.
